JAMES L. "JIM" JONES

JAMES L. "Jim" JONES, age 77, of Casstown, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He was born in Dayton on July 17, 1939 to the late Hubert C. and Geraldine Jones.

James is survived by his wife of almost 58 years: Sally (Hull) Jones; three children: Lisa (Pat) Borgerding of Dayton, Craig (Barbara) Jones of Tipp City and Michelle Mason of Casstown; two sisters: Betty (Chet) Bauch of Centerville and Leslie Isaacs of Huber Heights; five grandchildren: Alisha, Brett, Stephanie (Kalem), Nicole and Matthew; four great grandchildren: Kalynn, Blaine, Sophia and Athea; and many other friends and family.  He was preceded in death by one brother: Dallas Jones; and one son-in-law: Eugene J. Mason.

James worked for GM Inland for 32 years and then for Joe Johnson for 10 years after that.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery in Casstown.  Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
