James Michael "Jim" Kolakowski, age 75, of Troy, OH passed away on March 17, 2025 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center.  He was born on September 12, 1949 in Troy to the late Anthony and Mary Lou (Wiles) Kolakowski.

He is survived by his brother: John (Becky) Kolakowski; sister: Faith Dunn; brother-in-law: Ken Walters; nieces and nephews: Shawn (Missy) Dunn and their children, Mary (Tyler) Webb and their children, Becky Dunn and her children, Benjamin Kolakowski, Jim (Shelly) Walters and their children, John (Sarah) Walters and their children, Julie (Jesse) Blair and their children and Jenny (Rusty) Speakman and their children; grandson: Robert Dooley; stepson: Harvey Joseph; three grandchildren: Michael Joseph (Daughter), Shane (Hope) Joseph and Shanda (Matt) Stone; nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Wanda Kolakowski and sister: Mary Walters.

He was a graduate of Tecumseh High School.  He was retired from AO Smith Company. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and spending time with the grandkids.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday.
