James E. Grove, 79, of Troy, Ohio died on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Sterling House, Greenville, Ohio. He was born on January 20, 1927 in Troy, Ohio to the late William and Bessie Favorite Grove. He married Carol Ann Lamme and she precedes him in death in 2003. He is survived by a son, Mike Grove of Troy, OH and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by a son, Scott Grove and sister, Betty Roberts. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio and was a WWII US Army Veteran. He was the Owner/Operator of "Jim's Marathon" Service Station, Troy, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 2:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. There will be VFW Memorial Honor Guard at the graveside. Friends may call on friends and family at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio one hour prior to the service.
