James J. Durian, Jr., age 78, of Troy, OH, passed away on September 19, 2023.  He was born on January 21, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late James J. Durian, Sr. and Vera (Ungrady) Durian.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years of marriage: Maria G. (Velasquez) Durian; sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Tracy Durian of Piqua and Stephen and Tzeitel Durian of Centerville; sisters and brother-in-law: Mary Beth Moss of Cocoa Beach, FL and Suzanne and Tony Chybrzynski of Pittsburgh, PA and grandchildren: Alex Durian, Karleigh Durian of Troy, and Oliver Watson of Centerville.

He was a graduate of the Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh with a BA Degree in Accounting.  He was a retired accountant.

He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy.  He loved the Pittsburgh sports teams and also watching his kids and grandkids' sporting events.  He also loved his annual summer trip, with his loving wife, to Punta Cana, DR.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
