James R. Daniels, age 82, of Largo, FL; formerly of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday May 11, 2024. He was born on June 4, 1941, in Troy, Ohio to the late Fred G. Daniels, Sr. and Elizabeth A. (Grunert) Daniels. Jim was preceded in death by his son David R. Daniels; sister Barbara J. Smith (Daniels); brothers Thomas L. Daniels, Robert E. Daniels, William L. Daniels and Fred G. Daniels, Jr.

Jim was a 1959 Graduate of Troy High School and a United States Army Veteran - 101st Airborne Division. He Retired in 1998 from A.O. Smith in Tipp City as a Machinist Technician.

After retirement Jim moved from Covington, Ohio to Palm Harbor, Florida where he enjoyed time with friends, family, and playing golf.

Graveside services will take place at Riverside Cemetery Troy, Ohio, Wednesday July 17th at 10:00 am.
