James L. Caylor, 53 of Troy Ohio passed away Sat. March 16, 2002 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy following an extended illness. He was born Aug. 5, 1948 to Charlotte Cook of Springfield, Ohio and the late Lloyd Caylor. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan Handley Caylor, son Ralph T. Caylor of Troy; brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Traci Caylor of N. Vernon, IN; 2 sisters and brothers-in-laws Linda and Dru Ferguson of Parker, CO. and Catherine and Roger Brown of Littleton, CO. Jim was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy; The Boy Scouts of America; Past Assistant Scout Master Troop #82; Charter Organizational Representative; Member of the Miami Valley Rail Fans Club; a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He received his A.A.S. from Edison State niversity and worked 21 years for Prestolite of Troy. Services will be Thurs. March 21, 2002 at 11:00Am at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Troy with Military Honors conducted at the grave. Friends may call on the family Wed. March 20, 2002 from 5 to 8 PM. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop #82 or the Miami Co. Chapter of Brain Injury Association of Ohio @ 3303 Dogwood Dr. Troy, Ohio 45373.
