James F. Blackmore is survived by his wife, Doris A. Baker Blackmore; daughters and son-in-law, Susand Gregory Keferl, Jenifer and David Sheldon, Peggy and Richard Haus; son and daughter-in-law, James and Melissa Blackmore; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jean T. Blackmore; sister-in-law, Jeanne Harrelson; nine grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur E. and Lena Kraus Blackmore.

He was co-founder of Jaycees Junior League Baseball; Outstanding Young Man of the Year for his work with baseball; former member of Troy Rotary, Troy Jaycees and Troy Park Board.

Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
