Jacqueline Dershem, age 67, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Kettering of Troy Emergency Room.  She was born on May 16, 1957, in Troy to the late Jack C. and Ruth M. (Leiberick) Russell.

Jacqueline is survived by two children: Joshua A. Dershem of Troy and Florence (Will) Wray of Troy; two grandchildren: Hailey Mealy and Savannah Wray; one sister: Vicki Russell of Troy; one nephew: Jack R. (Holly) Snyder; one niece: JoLynn (Dave) Zahl; two great nephews: Davin Zahl and Jack E. Snyder; one great niece: Sofia Snyder; foster niece: Marsha Cain; and longtime friends: Cindy Hunter and Dale Bowers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one niece: Nichole Snyder.

Jacqueline graduated from Miami East High School on June 1, 1975.  She retired after 40 years from Upper Valley Medical Center, where she worked in Environmental Services.  Jacqueline was very passionate about the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.  She loved her kids, grandkids and Barnabas, her cat.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Private graveside service will be held in Fletcher Cemetery.
