Jack D. Taylor, 64, of Troy, Ohio, died on Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on December 24, 1940 in Sophia, West Virginia to the late Edward and Anne Bell Price Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Garnett M. Turley Taylor; sons & daughters-in-law: Michael Shirley Taylor of Troy, Ohio; Douglas Audra Taylor of Troy, Ohio; daughters & sons-in-law; Melinda Trent Jones of Troy, Ohio; Dawn Joe Sherman of Covington, Ohio; brothers & sisters-in-law; Donald Donna Dean of Branchland, West Virginia; Everett Annie Dean Jr. of West Hamlin, West Virginia; sister & brother-in-law; Barbara Sue Cameron Dillon of Frametown, West Virginia; grandchildren, Marissa Taylor; Tara Pence-Taylor; Samantha Taylor; Vanessa Jesse Weger; Elizabeth Jones; Dylan Taylor; Isaiah Williams; Shanelle Byrd; Sierra Byrd; Joseph Sherman and Samuel Sherman; great-grandchildren; Joshua Weger and Adi Weger. He attended Alcony Grace Church; Served in the US Army; loved Bowling and Camping. He retired after 35+ years of service at BF Goodrich in Troy as a Machinist. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 2:00Pm at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Robert Linkous officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Vandalia where there will be VFW Memorial Honor Guard services at the graveside.
