Jack C. Barringer, 87, of Troy, Ohio died on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the Koester Pavilion Nursing Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on November 11, 1917 in Osborn, Ohio to the late Lynn H. and Maude Dovel Barringer. He married Eleanor Nee Dale, and she survives, wife of 43 years. He is survived by loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents; five sister, Helen Frost; Ruth Oliver; Betty Pfiefer; Nancy Miller and Dovela Miller. He served in the US Army Aircorp during WW II and he was a lifetime member of the Troy Fish & Game and was affliated with Cornerstone Baptist Church. He served 19 years in Law Enforcement in West Milton and Miami County Sheriffs Department as Chief Deputy. Services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 10:30AM in the Riverside Cemetery Chapel. Matt Harbor will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 6-8PM. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
