Ivan Carl Snapp, 79, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at Harborside HealthCare in Troy. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Agnes M. Chronaberry Snapp; stepdaughter, Phyllis Kramer and stepson, John Weldy; brother, Ray Snapp and sisters, Eva Claar and Lela Baker; six step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren and two step great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran F. and Mary Myrtle Snapp, two brothers, Orville and Bob. Mr. Snapp was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a retired assembler at Troy Sunshade Company. Visitation for Mr. Snapp will be from 2-4 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2002 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with a service on Monday, March 4, 2002 at 10:00AM at the funeral home with Rev. John Shelton officiating.. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association.
