Ishmael ''Skip'' Bentley, 91, of Miamisburg, Oh and formerly of Troy, Ohio died on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 2:55AM at Lifecare at Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg, Ohio. He was born December 13, 1913 in Load, Kentucky to the late Cuge and Nancy Evans Bentley. He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Fay Blevins Bentley, who died in 1991. He is survived by his children, daughter and sons-in-laws; Phillis and Dave McKenna of Troy, OH; Gale and Noble Cox of Miamisburg, OH and son, Marvin Bentley of Troy, OH; five granchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; wife; threee sister and four brothers. Mr. Bentley is a Veteran of the US Army, serving in WW II in the first Infantry, seeing action in Africa and Italy; Smith O'Neil VFW Post #5436 Troy, OH; Loyal Order of Moose, Troy, OH; Franternal Order of Eagles, Tipp City, OH; Am Vets Post #88 Troy, OH. He retired as owner and operator of Bentley's TV, Troy, OH. Services will be on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 2:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. There will be special Veterans Honor Guard Services at the Graveside. Friends may call on the family on Sunday, April 24, 2005 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Contributions may be made to the VFW Honor Guard.
