Irwin E. Shoup Irwin E. Shoup, age 83, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 5:30PM on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Heartland of Piqua. He was born on February 14, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Jay and Esther Merebith Shoup. In 1948, he married Anna M. Weingart and she survives. Other survivors include his children and their spouses: Michael Shoup of Troy, Vickie and Jerry Wilson of Troy, Rev. Steven L. Shoup of Ft. Loramie, Ohio, Bruce and Debbie Shoup of Piqua, Ohio and Connie Hartley of Troy; brother, Richard Shoup and sister, Odelle Goodin both of Troy; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Angie, Joshua, Cody, Moni, Derrick and Paige; four great-grandchildren: Jemisan, Jeylan, Dalten and Brensen; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shoup was preceded in death by one grandson, Eric Reed; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and two nieces. He was a graduate of Tipp City Schools. He was a member of Elks Lodge, Troy and retired from NCR Dayton after many years of service. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Steven L. Shoup officiating.
