Irvin J. Wintrow, age 80, of Casstown, Ohio died Friday, April 1, 2005. Born of the late, J.C. and Grace Westfall Wintrow. He married Martha E. Partington who survives him after 57 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children, Jim Wintrow; Nancy and Mark Batdorf; Nadine and Harold Dixon and Naomi and Logan Owens; brothers and sisters-in-law, Orville; Ernest ''Dean'' and Carol; Don and Vivian Wintrow; grandchildren, Amy and Bruce Darst; Ann and Kris Lauck; Emma Batdorf; Bill Dixon; Brian and Becky Dixon and Angela Hall; stepgrandchildren, Ben Hall and Sarah Hall; great-grandchildren, Travis; Jah; Jeremiah; Korey; Abbey; Alexis and Austin; step-great-grandchildren, Brittney; Betsy and Louis. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy, Carl and Richard and sister, Nellie Mae Stidham. A member of the Casstown United Methodist Church; Miami County Antique Power Association, he was a former Casstown Village Council member and cemetery superintendent. He was a WWII US Army Veteran. Retired from St. Regis Paper Company IVEX Corp.; he worked at the Casstown Elevator; Miami East School Bus Driver; Scope Van Driver and was an area farmer.
