Irene Marie Sewell was born April 26, 1913 in Independence, KS of the late, Henry S. and Stella May Bowers Sewell.  She was preceded in death by one brother, William 'Buss' Sewell.

She was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ, Troy; Harvest Chapter #564 OES; White Shrine of Jerusalem; Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America and the Women of the Moose Lodge #1025.  She was formerly employed with General Motors, Delco Moraine Division and retired in 1978 from Hobart Corporation.  She was the operator of the McKaig Gardens Greenhouse with her brother, William.

Services 2:00PM Monday, November 27, 2000 at the Baird Funeral Home.  Friends may call one hour prior to service.  Interment Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.  Contributions to the American Cancer Society.
