Irene A. "Grammy" Jacomet, age 97, of Troy, OH died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 8:35PM at the Koester Pavilion, Troy, OH. She was born July 22, 1912 in Troy, OH to the late Frank Sharits and Melinda Cartwright Sharits. She was married to Robert G. Jacomet who preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Dorothy Jacomet of Troy, OH, Ralph E. "Skip" and Melanie Jacomet of Troy, OH, James L. and Phyllis Jacomet of Troy, OH, and daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Henry Jones of Troy, OH; grandchildren, Julie Jacomet, John Jacomet, Cindy Novak, Kim North, Patrick Jacomet, Lisa Hall, Michael Jacomet, Joshua Jacomet, and Lori Jacomet, and 23 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was preceded in death by her three sisters, one brother, and one granddaughter, Andria Jacomet. Irene was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, OH. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00AM Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, OH with the Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Interment to be held in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy from 4:00-7:00PM Tuesday with a prayer service at 6:45PM Tuesday.
