Ira Oscar Lindsey Ira Oscar Lindsey, 91, formerly of Troy, Ohio, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio. He was born August 30, 1916 in Collinwood, TN, to the late Oliver and Margaret Creecy Lindsey. He married Mildred McMaken Lindsey who passed away on June 27, 2001. He is survived by his brother, O B Lindsey of Sidney, OH and his sister, Betty Carity of Sidney, OH. In addition to his parents and his wife Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his sister, Ollie Lehman. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Dayton, OH and the F&AM Lodge of Dayton, OH. He was also a WWII US Navy Veteran. He retired from D.P.& L. Company. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH, with interment to follow.
