ILA M. DONLEY

Ila M. Donley, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Masonic Home, Springfield, OH.  She was born on January 11, 1927 in Crawford County, PA to the late Stanley and Coral (Bossard) Kazebee.  Ila was married to Elmer D. Donley and he preceded her in death in 1983.

Ila is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Dal and Judith Donley of Troy; daughters and son-in-law:  Darla York of Troy; Debra Croslin of Lebanon, TN; and Dee and Michael Brown of Ashburn, VA; brother and sister-in-law:  Richard and Kaye Kazebee of Lynchburg, VA; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Ila was preceded in death by her son-in-law: Ted York; and brother and sister-in-law: Raymond and Zelda Kazebee.

Ila was retired from the Miami County Board of Education after 19 years of service.  She was a member of the Beta Psi Masters Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Douglas Magin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Interment will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Meadville, PA at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.  Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the interment service at the cemetery chapel on Wednesday in Pennsylvania.
