Ian S. Coyle, age 67, of Troy, OH passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2025 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton.  He was born on August 11, 1958 in Windsbury, England to the late Robert and Florence (Wilkinson) Coyle.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years: Lisa K. (Welker) Coyle; son: Anthony (Joe) Welker of Piqua; brother: Philip (Sharon) Coyle; niece and nephew: Stuart (Amanda) Coyle and Hannah Coyle and great nieces: Mollie and Abbie all of England; mother-in-law: Carol Welker of Troy; brother-in-law: Bobby (Angela) Welker of Vandalia; nephew: Matthew Welker of Casstown and special friends: Chris Totten, Uncle Tom and Hank and the Greenlawn Family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Harold Welker and sister-in-law: Laura Welker.

Ian received a Bachelor of Science degree and numerous certifications. He was a quality expert and owned and operated IC Quality. He also subcontracted with ANAB and IAOB in registered accreditations.

He loved the Chelsea football team and golf. He was an avid Peterson pipe smoker and enjoyed having a cigar with his brother on holiday. He loved 70's music, the Dr. Who show and collecting flamingos and piggy banks.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-3:00PM on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home with a service to follow at 3:00PM.
