Howard S. Swigart, 89, died at Harborside Healthcare Center on Tusday, March 19,2002. Mr. Swigart is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Boze; Kathy and Jay Catlin; Virginia and Jerry Lewis. Sons and Daughter-in-law: John Swigart, Paul Swigart, Michael Swigart; David and Sandy Swigart; Raymond and Bev Swigart, Richard Swigart. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brohters, Benjamin, Ralph, George, Charles Swigart; sisters, Josephine Davis, Elsie Taylor, Sylvia Cyphers, Ethel Morgan and Mary King. Mr. Swigart was a member of First Lutheran Church, Troy, Ohio; Concord Grange; Pomona Grange; Hobart Quarter Century Club. He retired in 1972 after 38 years as a machinist at Hobart Corporation. Visitation will be from 5-8 Friday, March 22 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with a Grange service at 7:30. Service will be at 1:00PM Saturday, March 23 at Baird Funeral Home with Rev. Gill Krouse officiating. Contributions in memory of Mr. Swigart may be made to Hospice, FISH or charity of choice.
