Howard C. Storer Howard C. Storer, age 89, of Troy, Ohio, formerly of St. Paris, Ohio, passed away at 11:17AM on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born September 16, 1919 in Fithian, Illinois to the late John and Golda Stultz Storer. He married Katherine Lyons Storer on January 31, 1942. In addition to his wife, Katherine of 66 years, Mr. Storer is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Lowell and Carol Storer of Ludlow Falls, Ohio and John and Jill Storer of Carrollton, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Ann Storer of Dayton, Ohio; sisters and brother-in-law: Dorothy Miglaugtch of North Carolina and Doris and Harvey Florea of Wilmington, Ohio; and three grandchildren: Shaun Autumne, Erin and Brandon Storer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Harold and Paul. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church; member, Past Master and Past Secretary of Mt. Olivet Lodge #226 F&AM and member of Royal Arch Chapter No. 24. He was also a US Army Veteran having served from 1942-1945. Mr. Storer retired after 31 years of service with Wright Patterson Air Force. A graveside service will take place at 10:30AM Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the HoneyCreek Cemetery, Christiansburg, Ohio, with Rev. Dale Adkins officiating. Friends may call from 4-7:30PM Tuesday at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
