Howard J. Fasick Jr., 80, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at the Koester Pavilion Nursing Facility. He was born on May 20, 1923 in Troy, Ohio to the late Howard J. and Ruth Macy Bowman Fasick. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria L. Sifford Fasick in 1981. He is survived by his wife of 9 years,Ruthann Newland Fasick. Also surviving are two children, Daughter and Son-in-law: Vikki L. and Dean A. Evans of DePere, WI; Son and Daughter-in-law: Michael J. and Peggy Fasick of Deerfield Beach, FL. Also Step-Daughter and Son-in-law: Kathryn and Dr. Gregory Booher of Troy, Ohio; and stepson; Douglas Masters of Dayton, Ohio. He has a brother and sister-in-law: Don and Betty Bowman of Covington, Ohio and sister and brother-in-law: Shirley and Don Cress of Pleasant Hill, Ohio also survive. He has two grandchildren; Lane and wife Gina Evans of DePere, WI; Lee Fasick of Dayton, OH; three step-grandchildren; Blaine Booher;Kyla Booher; and Braydon Booher all of Troy, Ohio. And two great grandchildren, Gehret and Brehna Evans. Along with his parents and first wife preceeding him in death was a brother, John Bowman and a granddaughter, Leslie Fasick. Mr. Fasick was a member of Bemer United Methodist Church of Winter Haven, Florida; WWII Army Veteran and a member of the Franklin Lodge #13 F&AM. He retired as an Service Manager with Murphy Pontiac. The Rev. Scott Ocke will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy with VFW Memorial Honor Guard.
