Homer E. Warman, 81, died at his residence on Monday, September 16. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty J. Mudge Warman; daughter and son-in-law: Jeanette and Richard Blazso; foster son and wife: Danny and Wanda Hamblin; five grandchildren, KC Karr and Kristin Karr Delp; Megan, Ryan and Caitlyn Blazso; foster grandson, Matt Hamblin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. A.P. and Nellie Badger Warman, and three brothers. Mr. Warman was a member of Grace Baptist Church; he served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was an administrative assistant with IBM; former owner and operator of Crestview Kennels. Visitation for Mr. Warman will be at Baird Funeral Home from 5-8 PM Thursday, September 19 with a service at Grace Baptist Church at 2:00PM Friday, September 20 with Pastor Mike Eiras officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church or Multiple Sclereosis Foundation.
