Herbert W. Starner, 81, of Troy passed away on Wed. 5/21/2003 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. He was born October 1, 1921 to the late Oliver & Arzella Clark Starner. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Redman Starner who passed in 2001. Also preceded in death are 5 brothers and sisters. Mr. Starner is survived by 4 children; Danny Wayne Starner of Springfield, Ohio; Robert Starner of Piqua, Ohio; Hazel Roger Hatfield of Troy, Ohio; and Judy Powell of Troy, Ohio. Mr. Starner has 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran, Farmer, and worked for Coate Burial Vault Company.
