Survivors are his wife, Martha B. Motter Clawson; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary E. and Sue Clawson; Montie R. and Sharon Clawson; Joe and Darlene Clawson; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan L. and Michael Schwartz and a sister, Lula Clawson; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Maude Morgan Clawson, two brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Clawson was former mayor and council member in Casstown, Ohio.  He was a member of the volunteer fire department in Casstown; Staunton Grange; First United Church of Christ in Troy, Ohio; Order of Odd Fellow #43; Troy Fish and Game; and Milestone Club at Hobart Brothers.

Grange services will be at 8:00PM on 11/2/1999.
