Helene C. Hartzell, 77, of Troy, Ohio died on September 10, 2006 at the SpringMeade Healthcare Center, Tipp City, Ohio. She was born on February 5, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Murray W. and Theresa Hurst Craig. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas H. Hartzell; daughters & son-in-laws; Kathleen H. & Joseph Thorpe of Cincinnati, OH; Julie H. & Hermann Kaebnick of Louisville, KY; son, Thomas C. Hartzell of Troy, OH; son-in-law; Richard Wallace of Casstown, OH; eleven grandchildren, Thomas Dawn Wallace; Betsy Mark Staley; Sally Wallace; Emily Andy Sweeney; Eric Thorpe; Molly Thorps; Brian Kaebnick; Steven Kaebnick; Robert Kaebnick; Leah Hartzell; John Hartzell; four great-grandchildren, Katelyn Wallace; Tommy Wallace; Kendal Staley and Caleb Staley. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Suzanne H. Wallace. She volunteered at Stouder Hospital, Troy, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 10:00AM at the First Presbyterian Church, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 5-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
