Helen B. Hinkle Helen B. Hinkle, age 88, of Troy passed away at 3:04PM on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at SpringMeade HealthCenter, Tipp City. She was born on January 21, 1923 in Hay Springs, Nebraska to the late Charles and Amanda Schmock Jacobson. Her husband, Roy B. Hinkle, preceded her in death on February 12, 1991. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Burt and Sharon Hinkle of Kettering, Ohio, and Bruce and Ellen Hinkle and Rodney and Beth Hinkle all of Troy; two sisters: Maxine Kozal of Hay Springs, Nebraska and Lois Huston of Sterling, Colorado; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Hinkle was preceded in death by one son, Charles; her daughter, Janet; and two brothers: Marvin and Vernon Jacobson. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Troy and an avid gardener. Services will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, February 14, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Rev. Dale Christian will officiate.
