Helen Hanson Helen Hanson, age 88, of Covington, Ohio, formerly of Piqua, Ohio, passed away at 1:19PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio. She was born on May 5, 1920 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to the late George Edward and Effie Mae Vaughn Foster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Gale Hanson. Survivors include her son, George Michael Woods of Little Fork, Minnesota; sister, Alma Branson of Covington, Ohio; and two grandsons: Christopher Lee Woods of Blanco, New Mexico and Corey Michael Woods serving in the US Navy. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by four sisters: Avia Foster Collier, Anna Palmer, Opie Blakeman and Eileen Ward and two brothers: Charles Herbert Foster and Leemon Foster.
