Obituary

Helen L. Bomhard Helen L. Bomhard, age 84, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 4:45AM on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born on July 26, 1925 in Russia, Ohio to the late Cyril N. and Marie Monnier Francis. She married Neil M. Bomhard in 1951 and he survives. Other survivors include sons: Kevin Bomhard of Troy and Keith Cheri Killam-Bomhard Bomhard of Klamath, Oregon; brothers: Carl, Floyd and Edwin Francis of Ohio & David P. Francis of California; sisters: Mary Brush of Troy, Ohio and Roseanne Norman Kennet of Wisconsin; and sister-in-law: Millie Francis of Franklin, Ohio. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents: Cyril N. & Marie Monnier Francis; four brothers: Leroy, Valerian, Vernon and Cyril Francis; brother-in-law Edward Brush and sisters-in-law: Marie, Rosetta, Jean, Mary Elizabeth and Susan Francis. She attended school in Russia, Ohio. Helen was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy and volunteered with the funeral meals. She was active in aerobic classes, enjoyed the outdoors and had a great sense of humor. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy with Rev. Fr. Angelo Caserta officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:45PM on Monday at Baird Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Monday at the funeral home.
