Helen L. Bancroft, 84, formerly of Troy, died February 11, 2002 at the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, Ohio. Mrs. Banroft is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Robert Carol Edwards of Troy; two gandchildren, Scott Edwards of Raleigh, NC and Christopher Edwards of Troy, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruth Wildermuth Dalrymple; her husband, Harold F. Bancroft, and a daughter, Bonnie Jean Bancroft. Mrs. Bancroft was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Troy, Ohio and a graduate of Jackson Center, Ohio. She was an avid collector of glass and antiques. Service will be at Riverside Cemetery Chapel at the convenience of the family, with burial in Riverside Cemtetery, Troy, Ohio. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
