Hazel C. Erickson, 88, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed out of this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. She was born on July 27, 1915 in Manistee, Michigan to the late Hartwick and Anna Halter Hermanson. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John and there children, Carol and Karl Phillips of Troy, Ohio and James and Christina Erickson of West Jefferson, Ohio. Also surviving is a sister, Ora M. Anderson of Onekama, Michigan. She has five grandchildren, Debbie Phillips and Greg Fetters; Dr. Trapper Phillips and Fiance Angela Sparks; Mike Phillips; Sarah Erickson and John Erickson. Also one great grandchild, Tyler Fetters. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Olivia, Pearl and Martha. She was a Charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Illinois. She retired from Pioneer Title Insurance of Wheaton, Illinois. The Rev. Gill Krouse will be officiating.
