Leah M. Haworth is survived by her daughter, Janet H. Buchan of Troy; Grandsons: Robert R.C. Buchan II of Bloomington, IN; John Russel Buchan of Grand Rapids, MI; David Haworth Buchan of Grand Rapids, MI; 10 great grandchildren, including Leah Christina Buchan and Robert R.C. Buchan III of Troy. She was preceded in death by her parents, F.R. and Grace Saunders Miller; her husband, Russel H. Haworth; two sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Haworth was a member of First United Methodist Church, Troy; former superintendent of High School Department of the church; Commissioner of Girl Scouts; precinct chairman for the election polls; numerous civic organizations. She was a graduate of Troy High School; attended University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse; graduate of Miami Jacobs Business College Mrs. Haworth was a wonderful friend, mother and grandmother. Rev. Ronald Payne will preside at the services which will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, May 18, 2001, with visitation one prior to the service.
