Harry J. Richardson age 83, a lifelong resident of Troy, OH. Passed away Saturday February 14, 2009 at the Koester Pavilion Troy, OH He was born October 13, 1925 in Shelby County, OH the son of Harry C. and Carrie May Wiles Richardson who preceded him in death. Survivors include sons, Edward D. Richardson of Troy, OH and Richard Richardson of Georgetown, LA. Brother-in-law's Karl Justus of Lancaster, OH and Vern Bremer of Bellflower, CA. Grandchildren, Matthew Richardson of Bowling Green, OH and Megan Richardson of Fairborn, OH Cousins, Vergil Hawes of MA and Dorothy Friend of Troy, OH Special Friends include Irene Sluiter and Leo E. Wildenthaler both in Troy, OH. In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his his wife, Marilyn Jane Cloud Richardson; sisters Ada Irene Pressman and Wilma May Bremer and a special friend Barbara Bevington. Harry was a 1944 Graduate of Troy High School; a member of First United Methodist Church in Troy, OH; he served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII was a member of the 8-4/2-4 Amateur Radio Club and Troy Eagles Lodge #971. He worked as a Technician for both Aero Products and Hobart Manufacturing before retiring in 1990. Services will be 2:00PM Tuesday February 17, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church, Troy, OH with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery Troy, OH. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from Noon – 2:00PM. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
