Harry James ''Jim'' Walker Sr., 65, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born to the late Harry M. Walker and Mary Ann Lydick Schilling on August 3, 1937. He is survived by his step-mother, Ruth Walker of Belleville, Michigan and his wife of 42 years, Shirley A. LaGrant Walker. Also surviving are 4 children. Harry J. Walker, Jr., of London, Ohio, Patsy Ann Walker Burke of Troy, Ohio; Robert J. Walker Sr. of Newport, Ohio and Richard J. Walker, Sr. of Piqua, Ohio. He also has 18 grandchildren, 4 of them he has raised. He also had 8 great-grandchildren. He also is survived by stepbrothers and stepsister, Richard Edwards of Belleville, Michigan and Paul Edwards of Tennessee, and Claudia Edwards McKenzie of Belleville, Michigan. As well as parents proceeded him in death, he is also preceded by 3 brothers, Richard Joseph Walker, PFC Robert Lee Walker, and Joseph Larry Schilling and 2 sons. Mr. Walker was a US Army Veteran and he retired from Hobart Corporation, Plant 1. There will be a Private Family viewing only.
