Harry O. Bright, 88, died Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Doris Kessler Bright; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cinda L. Bright; daughter and son-in-law, Rosalee and Robert Overholser; stepson and wife: Larry and Shirley Becker and stepdaughter: Melanie Lamb. Four grandchildren, Bill Bright, Sheri and John Timmers, Mindy and Andy Sims, Ann and Kyle McMahan; six stepgrandchildren: Tony and Terri Becker, Eileen Becker, Lee Baker, Gail Baker, Amy Holden, Doug Holden and twelve great grandchildren. Mr. Bright was preceded in death by his parents, Cory L. and Mary Hill Bright; his first wife, Kathryne DeCamp in 1982 and three brothers. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Troy, Ohio and Mt. Olivet Lodge F&AM 226, Christiansburg, Ohio; lifetime member of Christiansburg Fire Department; member of Honeycreek Cemetery Board of Trustees for 50+ years. He was a graduate of Lostcreek Schools. Mr. Bright retired in 1978 from Hobart Brothers Company, Troy. He was an area farmer. Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday, June 16 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with a service at 2:00PM Tuesday, June 17. Pastor Doug Magin will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Upper Honeycreek Cemetery, Christiansburg, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christiansburg Fire Department or First Baptist Church Building Fund.
