Harriet M. Ishmael, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on Thurday August 31, 2017.  She was born March 6, 1930 in Troy, OH to the late Walter J. and Thelma M. (Dohme) Anthony.  She married Joseph F. Ishmael and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1996.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Tildon and Linda Ishmael of  Middletown, OH, Michael Ishmael of  Oakland, CA and Douglas and Peggy Ishmael of Troy; Daughter Barbara Grilliot of  Huber Heights, OH; Sister: Joan Ganger of Pleasant Hill, OH; Seventeen grandchildren and numerous  great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Harriet was preceded in death by:  two brothers: Walter and Robert; and one grandson: Christopher M. Meagher.

Harriet attended Troy High School.  She was a loving homemaker.  Harriet was a member of Troy VFW Post 5436.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  Interment will follow..  The
