Harold E. Sheafer is survived by his wife of 46 years, Evelyn Sheafer; sons and daughter-in-law, Marc Sheafer, Matt and Anne Sheafer, Mari and Jeff Snipes; a sister, Norman Jean Moran and five grandchildren, Bill Sheafer, Courtney and D.J. Snipes, Stephen and Deanna Sheafer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer E.  and Nora Elizabeth Longendelpher Sheafer.

Mr. Sheafer was a member of First United Church of Christ, Troy; Farm Bureau; ASC-Agricultural Stabilization Committee for 25 years; Miami County Fair Board - 12 years; founding Board of Indian Hills 4H Camp; Farm Bureau Council; Troy Elks POE #833;US Air Force veteran of Korean conflict.

He was a self-employed farmer.

Mr. Sheafer's body was donated to Wright State
School of Medicine.
