Obituary

Harold Elwood Honeyman Sr. Harold Elwood Honeyman Sr., 91, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the Koester Pavilion, Troy. He was born December 11, 1916 in Troy, to the late Elmer and Dora Stump Honeyman. His wife of 33 years, Erma M. Lawrence Honeyman, survives. He is also survived by his children's mother, Lillian Lucille Honeyman of Troy; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Harold Elwood Honeyman of N. Carolina and Elmer Louis and Tanya Honeyman of Troy; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Lucinda L. and Eric Kvant of Tipp City, Dianna Detrick of Troy, Charlene Mae and Clarence Bramlette of Troy and Darlene Faye and Doug Miller of Troy; two step-sons and daughters-in-law: Davy D. and Kim Crocket of Dexter, Missouri and Dean and Faith Crocket of Fletcher, Ohio; three step-daughters and sons-in-law: Cora and Bill Scott of Kenton, Ohio, Deborah and John Crocket-Standish of Kansas City, Kansas and Jeanie and Ronnie Brown of Findlay, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law: Roy and Jean Stump of Piqua; 23 grandchildren; 20 step-grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren In addition to his parents, Mr. Honeyman was preceded in death by his step-mother, Nora Stump Honeyman, daughter-in-law, Marjorie Honeyman, son-in-law, Danny Detrick, step-daughter, Betty Smith, two brothers, four sisters and one grandson, Danny Detrick. He was a member of the Christian Chapel in Ginghamsburg and the Hobart Quarter Century Club. Mr. Honeyman retired in 1978 after 33 ½ years of service at Hobart Corp. He also worked for ten years at the Grand National Trap Shoot, Vandalia, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM Friday, June 6, 2008, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Jesse Tipton and Tony Honeyman officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Vandalia, Ohio. Friends may call from 5-8PM Thursday at the funeral home.
