Harold William Hess, age 81 of Casstown, Ohio died Thursday, December 21, 2000. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Doug Buse; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald William and Lisa Hess and Douglas Glenn and Connie Hess; nine grandchildren, David, Ben, Tim and Betsy Buse; Kendra and Rebecca Manning and John, Christine and Sarah Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pauline Brokaw Hess; his son, Martin Edward Hess and one sister, Lucille Hess Stade. A member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy and former member of the Miami County Grange. A retired area farmer and former truck driver with Enpo Pump in Piqua. He was a WWII US Army Air Corp Veteran.
