H. Maxine Gross H. Maxine Gross, age 87, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:25PM on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at South Brook Care Center, Springfield, Ohio. She was born on April 24, 1924 in St. Paris, Ohio to the late Walter and Inez Sink Ely. Her husband, Kenneth E. Gross, preceded her in death on June 26, 2010. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth David and Sarah Beth Gross of South Bend, Indiana; daughter, Brenda Ciribassi of Troy, Ohio; three sisters: Dorothy Reineke of Troy, Marie Fine of Casstown, Ohio and Betty Heater of New Hampshire; grandchildren: John David Gross, Sarah Jane Gross Gowin, Kimberley Gross and Heather Ciribassi-St. Mary. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Wayne Ely. She was a graduate of LostCreek Schools and Bliss Business School in Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Gross was a member of Casstown Lutheran Church and attended Casstown United Methodist Church. She was over accounts payable and accounts receivable at Troy Sunshade Company and retired after 40 years of service. A graveside service will be held at 1:30PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio, with Rev. David Ramming officiating.
