H. Bernhardt Bob Miller, 91, of Piqua, Ohio entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 12, 2004. He was born January 31, 1913 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Josephine Miller. He graduated from school in New York City and continued his education at Purdue University in Industrial Electronics and Production Supervision which he completed in December 1942. He married Jennie Tincha on September 24, 1936. He was a runner for the New York Stock Exchange and worked in sales at Lehman Furniture whick moved him to Indiana. In 1947 he and Jennie moved to Troy where they raised their family. He secured a position at Troy Sunshade as Assistant Manager of the Cloth Products Division. Bob is survived by a daughter Josephine who resides in Piqua, along with son Mik and his wife Dorothy, and son Paul and his wife Pam. He is also survived by a son Robert who resides in Troy. Along with his children, he is survived by four grandchildren; Don Miller, Kellie Gordon, Jason Miller, all of Piqua and Chad Miller of Toledo, along with 6 great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Jennie, daughter Gloria Jean, mother Josephine, father John, and sister Marjorie Lehman. Bob was former co-owner of Sherwood Bowling Lanes in Troy. He was a member of the CCC, lifetime member of Masonic Temple, lifetime member of Elks, Hobart Quarter Century Club, and a member of Senior Citizens Bowling League, which he truly enjoyed. He enjoyed sharing time with his family, enjoyed crossword puzzles and woodworking. Bob lived a full life and was very proud of his family and accomplishments during his lifetime. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Fulfilling his wishes, there will be no public visitation, and private services will take place at the family's convenience. Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. The family extends a heart-felt Thank You to Dr. Luna for the continuous care and compassion he provided to our Dad and Grandpa and our family.
