Gwendolyn P. Duffy Gwendolyn P. Duffy, age 92, of Troy, OH, passed away at 4:10AM on Monday, October 22, 2007, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born October 18, 1915, in Enid, OK, to the late Allen N. and Marion Costello Perry. She married Edwin V. Duffy, husband of 63 years. She is survived by her husband, Edwin; sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Jane Duffy of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, and Lawrence and Kathryn Duffy of Winter Park, FL; daughter, Christine Garber of Troy, OH; and four grandchildren: Christopher Duffy, Elizabeth Duffy, R. Duffy Garber, and Daniel Garber. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duffy was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. She served as a deaconess of the First Congregational Church of Mansfield. Prior to moving to Troy, she was active in community events in Mansfield, including the United Appeal Board. She also worked with the local library. Private family services will be held with burial at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
