GREGORY F. "SPEEDY" ZANK

GREGORY F. "SPEEDY" ZANK, age 58, of Troy, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.  He was born on March 28, 1956 in Goody, KY to the late Grady Douglas and Shirley L. (West) Zank.  Speedy is survived by his wife of 39+ years, Tanna S. (Stoner) Zank.

Speedy is also survived by one son: Frankie Gene Zank of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law: Eryn Star Zank-Woods (Jesse) of St. Paris; two brothers: Tom Zank of Indiana and Glen Zank of Louisiana; and five grandchildren: Sam and Simon Zank, Dane Grady Nicholas and Parker Eugene Smith, all of St. Paris and Ethan John Poock of Troy.  He was preceded in death by one brother: David Zank.

Speedy proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy.  He was a construction worker with Bruns, Inc, Troy.  Speedy loved fishing, dancing and bonfires with his kids.  He loved spending time with his family.  Speedy's wishes for you are that if you have a chance to dance, then dance!

Private services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
