GRACE D. KINDELIN
GRACE D. KINDELIN, age 81, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born on June 17, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late Harry and Jeannette (Dunston) Spannenberg. Her husband, John Thomas Kindelin, preceded her in death on January 17, 1976.
Family and faith wereeverything to Grace. Her 3 boys that she was so proud of made up her world. Grace's sons married such loving ladies, giving the family 9 grandchildren. Her devotion to her children and grandchildren was always a part of her daily life. Never a day passed that she would not mention them. Her positive encouragement during good times and bad would always be the thought of the day. Her gift of love was infectious to anyone that was around her. Her "Graciesms" were always priceless and will be forever cherished in their lives.
When she wasn't working, scrapbooking or marathon-watching CSI, Bunco and Bridge games would rule the day. Her circle of friends over the years established a "cartel" of ladies gathering several times a year to play cards together. The Senior Center gang and her church lunch buddies were always a treat. Her friends were many and gave her lifelong relationships.
Amazing Grace--Mom, Grandma and friend. Grace will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Grace is survived by three sons and spouses: Mark and Gwen Kindelin of Chicago, IL, Joe and Alicia Kindelin of Glendale, AZ and Patrick and Lisa Kindelin of Sidney, OH; and grandchildren: Andrew Kindelin, Mike Kindelin, Tessa Kindelin; Megan (Richard) Loy and Adam Kindelin; John Kindelin, Maria (Santiago) Perez, Lydia (Devon) Latimer and Luke Kindelin.
Grace was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy, where she was a volunteer and a Eucharistic Minister. She was a former employee of Voss Honda in Tipp City.
