Grace Rice Looker, 82. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2003. She had been residing at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio. Mrs. Looker formerly lived in Troy, Ohio. She is survived by brothers: James Rice of Sabina, Ohio; Charlie J. Rice of Wittensville, Kentucky; Rev. Bill C. Rice of Ringgold, Georgia; Wilbur E. Rice of Sidney, Ohio: Sisters: Venus Wellman of Ashland, Kentucky; Emily E. Fyffe of Paintsville, Kentucky; Betty Jo Blair of Louisa, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Laura Haas of Mason and Gregory Snavley of Westchester. Mrs. Looker was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Wannie Osborne Rice, her husband, Raymond Looker in 1991, a daughter Lanora Snavley in 1995; one sister, Loutisha White and one brother, Virgil Rice. Mrs. Looker attended Troy Christian Church. She was a good christian woman who loved the Lord and loved people. She had worked at Grimes Defense Plant during WWII. Visitation will be from 12;00 noon until 1:00PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio on Friday, December 5, 2003, with a service at 1:00PM. Rev. Bill C. Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association.
