Grace Lois Cornelisse, 98, of Troy, Ohio died on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at her residence. She was born on March 15, 1907 in Harvey, Illinois to the late George L. and Beulah Babcock Shively. She married Carel M. Cornelisse and he precedes her in death in 1988. She is survived by two children, David and Diana Cornelisse of Troy, Ohio and Jean and David Jorlett of Minnetonka, Minnesota; a sister, Dorothea Shively of Troy, Ohio and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of Troy Church of the Brethren; former volunteer with Meals on Wheels; Crisis Hotline and League of Women Voters and was very active with the Troy Literacy Council. She was a 1929 Graduate of the University of Michigan. She was formerly employed with Grand Rapids Public Library; University of Dayton Library and GM Aeroproducts.
