Gordon E. Shroyer, age 73, of Troy, Ohio died Thursday, September 14, 2006 at his residence. He was born of the late Cecil K. and Mildred Margaret Howett Shroyer. He is survived by his former wife, Pat Nason Shroyer, sons, Gordon and Jeffrey, brothers, Doug, Dale, Glenn, and Larry Shroyer, sisters, Charlene Hess and Candace Morgan, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jack, and one infant son. A veteran of the US Air Force and the US Navy having served in the Vietnam War. A member of the Troy Fish and Game and the Troy VFW. He retired as a field service engineer with Duron Company, Dayton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Honor Guard.
