Goldie Carol Sargent Goldie Carol Sargent, 66, of Troy, OH, died at 3:10PM, Saturday, September 8, 2007, at her residence. She was born April 3, 1941, in Council, NC, to Dorothy Winfree Clark of N. Carolina, and the late Nash Clark who passed away in 1956. She was married to Harold Sargent who preceded her in death on August 4, 2004. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law: Catherine Elson of Prattville, AL, Brenda and David Frost of Ozark, AL, and Elizabeth and Chris Chambliss of Malone, FL; one son and daughter-in-law: Harold and Leona Sargent of Troy, OH; three sisters: Marjorie Priest, Rena Winfree and Claudia Batten all of Council, NC; and eleven grandchildren: Talon, Dani and Cord Elson, Adam and Caleb Frost, Alex, Carolyn and Andrew Sargent and Christopher Chambliss Jr., Sheyanna and Austin Chambliss. In addition to her father and her husband, Mrs. Sargent was preceded in death by her brother, Elmo Clark. She was a member of White Plains Presbyterian Church of Council, NC and was a US Air Force Veteran. Mrs. Sargent was also a homemaker. Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Council, NC.
