Glenda McKim Teach, age 53, of Troy, Ohio died Sunday, August 8, 2004 at home surrounded by family and friends. Glenda was born November 24, 1950 in Piqua, Ohio to LaVerne McKim and Mary Jane McKenna McKim who resides in Phoenix, Arizonia. She married Gary Teach, Sr. on May 9, 1969 and he preceded her in death on February 10, 1996. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary & April Teach of London, OH; a daughter & son-in-law, Sara and Tyler Webster of Piqua, OH. Two granddaughters, Bethany Teach and Emma Webster. Additional survivors include her mother-in-law, Janet Teach and Aunt Marcella Schaefer both of Piqua, Ohio. One brother, Jamie McKim of Indianapolis, IN; two sister, Sharie Griffith of Ludlow Falls, OH and Mona McKim of Atlanta, GA. Glenda is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, husband and infant daughter, Tiffany. Glenda was a graduate of Piqua Schools and earned her Bacholors Degree in Education from Wright State University and her Masters Degree in Business. Glenda was a Business Education teacher for the Piqua City Schools for 27 years and was active in many professional education and community organizations. A Celebration of Life Service for Glenda will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 10:00am in Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church Main Campus, Tipp City, OH.
