Glen E. Francis, age 77, of Troy, OH passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017.  He was born on August 21, 1939 in Miami County to the late Marion and Mary (Ford) Francis.  Glen married Dixie May (Cheadle) Francis on February 25, 1961.  She preceded him in death on October 12, 2009.

Glen is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Ronnie and Beth Francis of Savannah, GA and Kim and Renee Francis of Troy; two grandchildren: Jessica (Jeff) Welbaum and Mitchell Francis; sister: Addie Henry of OK; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and his wife, Glen was preceded in death by: six brothers: John, Adrian, Bill, Leonard, Marion, Jr. and Hartley; and three sisters: Freda, Betty and Mary June.

Glen was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 971, Troy Fish and Game, Amvets Post 88 and VFW Post 5436.  He previously worked for Decker's Meat Packing, Dinner Bell, FRAM, and then retired from Copperweld in 2001.

Private Service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
